Lawyer and professor, Mr. Omar Mohammedi was our speaker for our event on January 1, 2017. He taught us the importance of “effort” and “perseverance”. He showed us and educated us about the true definition of leadership by implementing the meaning of perseverance, “when you believe that you are doing the right thing, you go for persevere and you keep doing it until you prove it right.” By recounting his many success in the court rooms, we understand that from believing in ourselves, and standing up for what we believe in as a Muslim community, we can make new things for us, our children, and future generations.
